Washington State Latter-day Saint Family Educators

In 2001, when Washington State Latter-day Saint Family Educators was born the main function was to support LDS homeschooling families in the State of Washington through a free email support group. Today this continues to still be the main function of WALDSFE. Everyone who joins us online is considered a "member" of WALDSFE and we invite all to join us.

It doesn't matter your religion, homeschool style or even where you live, we welcome all. Please sign up with Yahoo! and join us online. You will find that you are not alone.

The second function WALDSFE holds is its annual LDS homeschooling conference. Each spring, the LDS homeschooling parents (and teens) gather together in a large conference to hear from those who have gone before and to shop from select vendors.

The easiest way to stay informed about the date and place is to join the email support group. The other way is to request to be put on a mailing list at waldsfe@hotmail.com .

The third function came about when The Board went before The Advisory Board and asked, "What can we do to make WALDSFE better?" It was decided that WALDSFE would offer a Premium Membership as well as expand the events planned through out the year. For the 2006-2007 school year WALDSFE will be offering to all its members workshop, a learning fair and a dedicated youth conference, members only page (coming soon) as well as the annual conference.
