Proof she can ski
(or at least put them on)

Skiing

It was a beautiful day and they just couldn't stay home any longer.  Rentals were procured and they hit the slopes early on a sunny Friday.  By 5pm they were all worn out but they sure did have a great day! 

"I got to ski with mom and she was the best skier I ever saw," chuckled Jessie. "And I love her."

"Even though the snow wasn't great, it was fun skiing with my kids, " Steve said.

Jason said, "Boarding was fun!"

"It was fun going by myself on the chair lift. I'm big enough now to go by myself,"  Chris said.

"It was fun because we did it as a family," stated Kray.

Off to Mickey's House

For a special treat Grandpa Blanding took Chris and Matt to Disneyland.  Here is a brief report from the boys.

Chris: "Grandpa took me and Matt to Disneyland and we had LOTS of fun.  We went on California Screaming, it's a roller coaster with a loop-d-loop. And we had LOTS of fun.  The first time when we road the ride, it was night time and the line was huge and we were lucky enough to get on the ride.  I didn't even scream. I was with dad, he and I went together.  There is a magnet motor that will launch you and then drop you.  Dad told me to put my hands back because it launches you so fast and it will throw back your hands.  The second time we went on it was early in the morning.  I noticed that when you do the loop-d-loop I noticed that the safety harness squeezes you to keep you on the ride.  I also noticed that the ride had the face of Mickey Mouse and they disappear when the cars go through it and reappear as they finish. it is really cool.  We had a great time.  The hotel we were in was so cool. Thank you Grandpa."

Matt: "We went on Alaska Airline.  We went on cool rides, my favorite rides were: California Screaming, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and Mollohan Madness.  It was fun being with my Grandpa, cousin, uncle, Chris and Dad.  We had a great time.  Thank you Grandpa."

Steve: "It was fun. The kids had a great time.  Thanks Grandpa for taking us.  Can't wait until Jessie's eight."
