Christmas

This year from Christmas we had a special guest. No, not the man in the red suit, but our cousin and nephew, Ryan and his son, Teancum.  Ryan's wife is in the hospital over the holiday season and was transported to University of Washington hospital.  We decided to bring Christmas dinner to her. So on December 24 after our Christmas dinner we drove on over and surprised them with dinner!

It was a great adventure and fun to do.  We wish them well as the end of Ashley's pregnancy draws to a conclusion.

The next day the man in the red suit must have come because our house was full of fun new things.

Every one got a Nerf gun for Christmas so if you come visit make sure you have your battle armor on.  You take your own life in your own hands when you come to the door.

Medical Update:

Doreen has had some major pain in her left shoulder for the past few months (it could be more like a year).  Back in November when she went to her neck/back specialist they decided to have a MRI taken just in case there was something else going on in the joint.  She also referred Doreen to a shoulder specialist.

What do you know, but Doreen has a calcium deposit in her shoulder joint about the size of a kidney bean.  The doctor then put some medicine in her shoulder.  He told her to wait 10 minutes then he was going to perform the strength test again. What do you know? She could actually keep her arm up when he pressed down on it.

So far so good!
