Washington's 11 Subjects

The State of Washington requires that anyone providing their children with a home based education cover these eleven subjects.

Many who see the list of 11 subjects feel very over whelmed. Please do not feel like that. Think of how many subjects just in a normal day you can cover.

Mom, how do you spell Mississippi with out any I's?
Why do I have to wash my hands before dinner?
I don't think I want to mow lawns as a career, but as a job for a teen, WOW great money, mom!
Mom, did you pay me my allowance?
Mom, what kind of bug is that crawling on the ceiling?
Mom, why is the sky blue and grass green?
Mom, how do you get tar off your pants?
Mom, can we have some wood, nails and borrow dad's tools? We want to build a club house.
