Sowing Seeds.....
During our Botany and Gardening
unit we started plants in our house, did models of leaves, roots and
other structures inside plants, went on nature walks, and built a pond
(mostly for Kray's Gardening BSA Merit Badge). We also managed a trip to
the Big Redwoods in California (it helps that relatives lived down
there.)
