Our Art Museum

To end our unit on the Renaissance, (2002) the kids decided to open a museum.  We found all the art work from the past eons and made tags for them.  We then spent a day or so putting their art work on tri-fold presentation board, tape them to the wall, poster board or whatever.  We also researched what food there would have been served during a Renaissance opening.  The children also dressed up as common Renaissance folk.  We then invited a few of our friends to come to our open house.  It was so much fun, I wish I (the mom) could take credit for such a wonderful idea!
