Up, Up and Away......

For our unit on Flight (2003) we put together flapbooks as our project.  Take a tour of what we did and learned.  Kray also  flew  a plane for his Aviation BSA Merit Badge

The object on the bottom right is a flipbook.  If you flip it you will watch a bird fly.  Kray was creative and had his bird do a flip.

I tried to make it look like a flight plan.

I traced a plane and then labeled the parts.

I let the children dictate a short biography on those who went before the Wright Brothers and helped influence them.  My is the only pictures that turned out.

I traced the control panel and.......

 


...gave all the answers.
