First on this Land
Growing up in
the Northwest you can't help encounter Native Americans, their culture and
their people. Mountains, rivers, valleys, counties, towns, cities and
more are named after Native Americans. We can't get away from
then and we don't want to.
This unit will be more Pacific Northwest Native Americans,
but there will be a sprinkling of other cultures especially as we study the
history of our country.
