Gold Fever

Gold fever struck many. Very few were ever cured.  It was a very short lived illness as the veins ran out, but it was replaced with silver fever.  Many wondered the West in search of their fortune.  Those who were "ill" were lucky to break even and those who serviced the miners made it rich.

Please see the General History page for more books and links.
