The Green Mountain State
Once part of New York and New Hampshire and
fought over by the two, Vermont became the 14th state. Vermont depends
heavily on its natural resources; mainly its mountains that are covered in
wonderfully skiing snow and those beautiful deciduous trees that draw
thousands of people to its Green Mountains.
