World and U.S. history books with an LDS Perspective, written by Dan Hunter. Dan started writing these books when he was teaching at a private school. Researching people and events of history take much time and soon other teachers were asking for the stories Dan was using to teach history. History is more interesting and better remembered when told in stories about the people and events of that time period. It is also important to learn history with an understanding of God’s laws and his hand in dealing with people as they obey or disobey those laws. These books have map outlines you can copy for your children and a list of books and videos that go with the time period being studied.
