This is a list of games we own and like to
play.
- Settlers of
Catan (and the many versions they have). Settlers is a
strategy games with a little luck thrown in for variety.
- Ticket to
Ride is an all time favorite at the Blanding home (Ticket
to Ride-Europe just came out and we like that one too.) Ticket
to Ride teacher geography and simple math.
- Lost Cities
is a favorite two player game. Lost Cites teaches math skills.
- Ricochet
Robots is a great game to just have out. Click on the link to
learn more about the game--it is hard to qualify.
- Balloon Cup;
Doreen's favorite two player game. Very simple math/counting
skills needed.
- Ingenious
is a fantastic strategy game. Our little 4 year old girl just
matches the colors--not the real rules but fun for her and grandma.
The rest of us play with the real rules and have a blast.
- Carcassone
an all time favorite with lots of add ons and varieties to play.
- GIPF is a great game and so are the other in the series.
If you like Chess or Othello type games, you will LOVE these games.
- Citadels
is Doreen's favorite game because she hasn't lost yet!
- Fluxx is
a great put in the car quick card game to play anywhere. Rules
are very simple and the game is NEVER the same.
- Tichu is
Steve's favorite card game.
Kray's two favorite games (13 year's old):
Jason's two favorite games (11 year's old)
Mikes two favorite games (10 year's old)
Matt's two favorite games (8 year's old)
Chris's two favorite games (6 year's old)
Jessie's two favorite games (4 year's old)
There are a ton more we could list, but that might get boring so go
look at Steve's top 100
games.
