This is a merit badge that I require my boys to receive.  This is a personal choice and part of our homeschooling education.  It is also rather easy for my boys because they start music lessons when they are 5 or 6 and music is a huge part of our life. Below you will find things that have helped us achieve this merit badge.

With any BSA Merit Badge, please read the specific Merit Badge booklet for requirements and other helps.  they are full of wonderful helps, tips and information specific to the Merit Badge.  Most libraries carry books, but please make sure it is has the latest requirements.  Please check with U.S. Scouter Service Project or Meritbadge.com for this badges current requirements and don't forget to talk with your counselor before beginning this Merit Badge.
