Longboats and Norsemen
We had a great time learning about where the Olsen side of the family came from--Norway. I guess you could say we have a little of that hot Viking blood inside.

Project
The children were to pick a specific topic of Viking life and present a oral and typed report at the end of the unit. There was to be notes, rough drafts and a visual aid to help support their report.
Writing assignments
They had a three point paragraph due at the end of each week on something they learned about Vikings that week.
